Storage with Southern Cal Moving and Storage, consists of loading your packed, wrapped and secured items into one of our storage Vaults. A Vault is a large wooden storage container. A Vault measure 7’x7’x 6’ and has reinforcements on all edges and crossing the walls.
The Vaulting procedure is quite similar to the procedures used to load one of our trailers. Upholstered items are wrapped in heavy duty “shrink” wrap, an industrial grade plastic wrap. Large furnishings are wrapped in furniture pad wraps, a quilted “blanket” used as a protective barrier. An example of pad wrapped furniture can be seen in the images to the right.
